The Gokulashtami Asthanam will be conducted at the Srivari Temple on September 4, from 8 PM to 10 PM, at the Bangaru Vakili Mukha Mandapam. Lord Krishna Swamy will be seated on the Golden Sarvabhoopala Vahanam and special offerings will be presented. A special Ekanta Tirumanjanam will also be performed for Sri Ugra Srinivasa Murthy, Sri Devi and Bhu Devi Ammavaru, and Lord Krishna Swamy, followed by Dwadasaradhana. On September 5, the grand Utlotsavam will be held at Tirumala from 4 PM. Sri Malayappa Swamy, on a golden Tiruchi, and Sri Krishna Swamy, on another Tiruchi, will take a procession along the Mada Streets. Devotees and youngsters will enthusiastically participate in the traditional breaking of the hanging pots. In view of the Utlotsavam, the TTD has cancelled the Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva scheduled at the Srivari Temple on September 5. Meanwhile, on September 4, the TTD Horticulture Department will conduct Panchabhishekam for Lord Krishna, depicted as Kaliya Mardhana, at the garden near Gogarbham Dam from 10 AM to 12 noon. The Utlotsavam will be conducted thereafter.
