Heatwave conditions are intensifying across the Telugu states, with Andhra Pradesh facing extremely high temperatures. Officials have issued a 5-day red alert for several coastal districts, warning that temperatures may reach 45°C to 47°C from Srikakulam to Prakasam district.
The Andhra Pradesh Disaster Management Authority has advised people to avoid going outdoors after 10 AM unless absolutely necessary. Severe hot winds and extreme heat are making daily life difficult, with the sun becoming intense from early morning itself.
Telangana is also experiencing severe heatwave conditions, especially in northern districts, where hot winds are expected for the next three days. Health experts are urging children, elderly people, and pregnant women to take extra precautions.
