K. Paidi Raju, a contract worker injured in the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant blast, died on Wednesday, taking the death toll to nine. Known as “Cable Raju,” he was a well-known figure in Gangavaram village. Before succumbing to his injuries, he made an emotional video call to his sons from the ambulance, asking them to take care of their mother, continue their education, and stay united.
