DoorDash has introduced “Ask DoorDash,” a new AI-powered chatbot that allows users to order food, groceries, and make restaurant reservations using simple text prompts, photos, and recipe links. Instead of browsing through restaurants and stores, users can describe what they want, and the AI will build personalized recommendations and shopping carts.
The feature can also create grocery lists from cookbook photos, suggest items based on past purchases, and help users find restaurants based on preferences such as family size, dietary needs, and budget. The chatbot is currently rolling out on iOS in select U.S. regions and will expand nationwide in the coming weeks.
