Supabase, the open-source database platform widely used in the AI-powered coding world, has raised $500 million in its Series F funding round. The investment values the company at around $10.5 billion.

CEO Paul Copplestone said the platform's growth has been fueled by AI coding tools like Claude Code and Codex. Supabase now serves nearly 10 million developers, with over 60 percent of new database projects being created through AI-assisted tools. The company recently launched Multigres, a new platform designed to simplify large-scale Postgres database management. The funding round was led by GIC, with participation from Stripe, Georgian, and Salesforce Ventures.
