Yash’s latest action drama ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ continued its strong theatrical run on Day 2, bringing the Kannada superstar within touching distance of a major box-office milestone.

According to the latest trade figures, Yash’s cumulative post-COVID India net collection stands at ₹998.45 crore, leaving him just ₹1.55 crore short of the ₹1,000 crore mark.

‘Toxic’ Crosses ₹138 Crore in Two Days

Toxic opened with an impressive ₹101.10 crore net in India on Day 1.

On Day 2, the film added around ₹37.65 crore net, taking its two-day domestic total to ₹138.75 crore, according to the latest box-office tracking figures.

The film recorded an overall occupancy of around 26.6% across more than 22,600 shows on its second day.

Only ₹1.55 Crore Away From the Big Milestone

Yash's post-COVID box-office journey has been powered primarily by ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ and now Toxic.

KGF: Chapter 2 contributed around ₹859.7 crore net in India. With Toxic adding its first two days' collections, Yash's cumulative total has reached ₹998.45 crore.

This means even a relatively small collection from Toxic could push Yash past the ₹1,000 crore post-COVID milestone.

Hindi Market Leads the Way

Interestingly, Toxic has been performing particularly strongly in the Hindi market.

The film's two-day India net collection stands at approximately ₹79.25 crore from Hindi, followed by ₹31.80 crore from Kannada and ₹19 crore from Telugu, according to current tracking figures.

This performance highlights Yash's growing popularity beyond the Kannada-speaking market following the success of the KGF franchise.

Strong Worldwide Performance

Toxic has also made an impressive start internationally.

After two days, the film had crossed approximately ₹185 crore in worldwide gross collections, according to current trade tracking figures.

The film is expected to benefit from the upcoming weekend, with audiences potentially driving collections higher.

With just ₹1.55 crore required to reach the milestone, Yash is expected to cross the ₹1,000 crore post-COVID India net mark very soon.
