The Charlotte Telangana Association (CTA) is set to organize a special annual picnic exclusively for its Lifetime Members as part of the “Khelo Telangana 2026” celebrations. The event will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Red Barn Events in Waxhaw, North Carolina.
The family-friendly gathering will feature volunteer-cooked Telangana-style food, music, dance performances, fun activities for children, and celebrations marking Telangana Formation Day. Organizers say the event aims to strengthen community bonds among Telangana families living in the Charlotte area.
CTA announced that the picnic will be free for all Lifetime Members. As part of the Khelo Telangana celebrations, the association is also offering a special promotional Lifetime Membership at a discounted price of $150, instead of the regular $200 fee. Interested individuals can enroll by sending the payment through Zelle to membership@charlottetelangana.org.
The event is scheduled from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM on June 7 at Red Barn Events, located at 6012 Jeanne Dr, Waxhaw, NC 28173.
