The Dallas Area Rayalaseema Association (DARA), a prominent Telugu community organization in Texas, is gearing up to host its much-awaited “DARA 5K Walk & Run Fundraiser Event” on June 27, 2026, at the Warren Sports Complex in Frisco, Texas.
Organized with the goal of giving back to society, the fundraiser aims to support orphanages and old-age homes through various charitable initiatives. DARA leaders have called upon Telugu families, youth, and community members to actively participate and make the event a grand success.
As part of the community service initiative, DARA will also conduct a Free Health Camp on the same day from 9 AM to 12 PM. The camp will offer free health screenings including BMI, Blood Pressure, ECG, and HbA1c tests. Organizers highlighted the growing concern of heart disease and diabetes among Indians and stressed the importance of preventive health checkups.
DARA representatives said the event is not just about fitness, but also about unity, compassion, and community service. They encouraged everyone to register, participate with family and friends, and contribute towards creating a positive impact in society.
