The Global Telangana Association (GTA) Detroit Chapter is set to organize “Palle Vanta,” a grand celebration showcasing the rich culture, traditions, and authentic village-style cuisine of Telangana in the United States.
The event is being planned as a massive onsite cooking and family picnic festival, bringing together Telugu families for a day filled with traditional food, fun, and cultural entertainment.
The “Palle Vanta – Telangana Village Food Fest” will be held on June 6, 2026 (Saturday) from 11:30 AM onwards at Shiawassee Park in Farmington, Michigan. Organizers announced that entry to the event will be completely free for all attendees.
One of the major attractions of the event will be live onsite cooking competitions featuring authentic Telangana village dishes. Visitors will also get an opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of traditional Telangana delicacies prepared fresh at the venue.
Apart from the food festival, special games, entertainment activities, and exciting prizes have been arranged for children, men, and women. Cultural performances reflecting Telangana heritage and traditions are also expected to entertain the audience throughout the day.
GTA representatives said the main objective of the event is to promote Telangana culture among the younger generation living abroad and strengthen bonds within the Telugu community in the US.
Organizers have invited Telugu families and community members in large numbers to participate and make the “Palle Vanta” celebration a grand success.
