The Association of Indo Americans (AIA) successfully organized “The Great Indian Food & Shopping Fest (TGIFS)” along with the “Mango Festival” at Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, California, drawing a massive crowd from across the Bay Area. More than 15,000 visitors attended the grand cultural, food, and entertainment event.
The Mango Festival emerged as a major attraction this year, with visitors enjoying a wide variety of mango-based desserts, beverages, and sweets made from seasonal mangoes. Long queues were seen at several mango stalls throughout the event.
More than 100 stalls showcased Indian and international cuisines, clothing, jewelry, handicrafts, and home décor items, offering a vibrant shopping experience. Non-stop live entertainment including dance performances, concerts, DJ shows, and cultural programs kept the audience engaged throughout the festival.
A special “Saree Promenade” organized for Mother’s Day received an overwhelming response. Carnival rides and games were also arranged for children. AIA representatives expressed happiness that the annual festival continues to celebrate the Bay Area’s cultural diversity while also providing a strong platform for local businesses and entrepreneurs.
