The spirit of Telugu culture is set to shine once again on American soil as the “Mana America Telugu Association” (MATA) gears up for its prestigious 2nd Convention ’26. Scheduled for June 19 and 20 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania, the grand event promises to be a spectacular celebration of Telugu heritage, unity, spirituality, entertainment, technology, and community service.

A Grand Celebration of Telugu Pride in America:

Bringing together Telugu families from across the United States, MATA Convention ’26 is being designed as more than just a gathering — it is a vibrant cultural movement that reflects the strength, traditions, and identity of the Telugu community abroad. From cultural programs to spiritual events, celebrity appearances to youth innovation forums, the convention aims to offer an unforgettable experience for every generation.

From Bhadrachalam to America… A Divine Journey:

One of the biggest highlights of this year’s convention is the spiritual initiative titled “A Divine Journey Across America.” Beginning May 30, the sacred Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam celebrations from Bhadrachalam will travel across major American cities including Tampa, San Antonio, Dallas, and Atlanta.

The spiritual journey will culminate on June 20 at the convention venue, where priests arriving from Bhadrachalam will conduct the grand Sri Rama Pattabhishekam ceremony, creating a deeply devotional atmosphere for Telugu families living abroad.

Musical Nights to Set the Stage on Fire:

Music lovers are in for a massive treat at MATA Convention ’26. Popular singer Ram Miryala will perform live on June 19, promising an energetic night filled with folk and mass beats.

The excitement will reach another level on June 20 as Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) headlines a mega musical concert expected to be one of the biggest attractions of the convention. Telugu celebrities including Suma Kanakala, Aishwarya Rajesh, Nikhil, and Bellamkonda Srinivas will also grace the celebrations.

Youth Forum & AI Innovation:

MATA is placing special focus on the younger generation by organizing a dedicated Youth Forum featuring interactive sessions with film stars, competitions, and leadership activities.

To encourage innovation and future-ready learning, the convention will also host a “Futuristic AI Hackathon” and “AI Powered Learning” sessions for students and tech enthusiasts.

Sports, Community & Wellness:

The celebrations extend beyond the convention hall with sports tournaments being organized throughout May and June, including volleyball in Novi, Michigan, pickleball in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, cricket in Delaware, women’s throwball, and chess competitions.

MATA is also actively serving the Telugu diaspora through free monthly health screening camps in Edison and legal awareness seminars conducted via Zoom every last Saturday of the month.

A Platform for Business Opportunities:

The convention is expected to become a major networking hub for Telugu entrepreneurs and businesses. Vendor booths, souvenir advertisements, and promotional opportunities are currently open for businesses in real estate, jewelry, and other service sectors.

Under the leadership of Srinivas Ganagoni, Ramana Kiran Duddagi, Sridhar Goodala, and other committee members, preparations for the mega event are progressing on a grand scale. Organizers are inviting Telugu families from across America to participate and make MATA Convention ’26 a memorable celebration of Telugu unity and culture.

MATA Convention ’26 is not just an event — it is a celebration of Telugu identity, tradition, innovation, and togetherness on a global stage.
