A tragic road accident in Brevard County, Florida, has claimed the lives of three students from the Telugu states. The students were reportedly travelling to their part-time workplaces when their car crashed into a tree on Interstate 95.

The driver and the front-seat passenger died at the scene, while N. Rahul, who was seated in the rear, was taken to a hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

Nizamabad Student Among the Victims

Rahul, a native of Navipet in Nizamabad district, Telangana, had completed his master's degree and was living in South Florida. According to his family, he had enrolled in a PhD programme and was also looking for employment.

His family said Rahul had spoken to his mother shortly before the accident. His friends arrived to pick him up for work, after which he ended the call. It was reportedly his last conversation with his family.

Other Two Victims Identified

The other two deceased students have been identified as Subramanyam Chaturvedula and G. Anil. Their hometown details have not been independently confirmed. They were reportedly roommates of Rahul.

Family Seeks Help to Bring Body Home

Rahul's father, Hari Babu, has appealed to the Telangana government and the central government to help bring his son's mortal remains back to India at the earliest so that the family can perform the final rites.

A Telugu community organisation in the US is reportedly assisting the family with local formalities and coordination with authorities.

Investigation Underway

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. Reports indicate that another person may have been in the vehicle at the time of the accident, though details have not been independently confirmed.

A Family Left Devastated

Rahul's family said he had returned to India around three months ago to attend his sister's wedding. He had remained in the US to pursue further studies and career opportunities.

The sudden loss has left the families of all three students devastated as they await further information and assistance with repatriating the bodies.
