An IndiGo flight bound for Delhi was forced to return to Goa shortly after take-off following a technical issue with one of its engines.

Flight 6E 2102, carrying 229 passengers, departed from Goa at around 9:16 AM on Tuesday. About 15 minutes later, Air Traffic Control declared a full emergency after the aircraft reported an engine problem.

The flight turned back and landed safely at Manohar International Airport in Mopa at 9:51 AM. All passengers were reported safe.

IndiGo said the aircraft is currently undergoing maintenance checks and will resume operations only after receiving the necessary clearances. The airline has also made alternative travel arrangements for the passengers to reach Delhi.
