Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar sharing the same frame at Supriya Sule’s daughter Revati Sule’s wedding reception has sparked political buzz.
The photograph, showing Modi, Shah and Pawar seated together, has attracted attention amid recent interactions between the Pawar-led NCP (SP) and the Prime Minister. The party remains part of the Opposition INDIA bloc, making the optics particularly significant.
Earlier on Monday, all eight Lok Sabha MPs of the NCP (SP), led by Supriya Sule, met Prime Minister Modi and raised several Maharashtra-related issues. These included drought, irrigation, river interlinking, railways and farm loan waivers. The delegation also submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister.
NCP (SP) MP Amol Kolhe said the MPs raised concerns over the Pune-Nashik semi-high-speed rail project and farm loan waivers.
He clarified that parliamentary proceedings were not discussed during the meeting. The MPs directly approached Modi as disruptions in Parliament had prevented them from raising these issues there.
