Reacting to the growing support for Vijay's political journey, his mother Shobha said her son has always been clear about serving the people, regardless of the field he chooses.
"Vijay has always been very clear about what he wants to give back to society. Whether in cinema or politics, his focus has always been on the people. However, he firmly believes that one cannot ride two horses at the same time. It has to be either films or politics," she said.
Shobha noted that while Vijay was actively involved in the film industry, he never allowed political ambitions to distract him. "Now that he has entered politics, he has completely dedicated himself to public service. There is no question of balancing both careers. This is a sacrifice Vijay has made for the people," she added.
Speaking about the party's success, she described it as a proud moment not only for Vijay but for the entire family. "A victory for TVK is not just Vijay's achievement; it is a precious gift to our family as well. We believe this marks the beginning of a new era of governance that Vijay hopes to bring.
