A Delhi court has sent self-styled right-wing influencer Swatantra Bhardwaj to 14 days of judicial custody in connection with an alleged assault on the father of a student activist during a Jantar Mantar protest. An Air India Express Boeing 737 flying from Kochi to Abu Dhabi was forced to turn back after the crew detected a rapid drop in the oil quantity of one engine. The aircraft, operating as flight IX 415, was around 50 minutes into the journey and cruising at 36,000 feet when the pilots noticed the abnormal reading.
