Leaders of the American Telugu Association (ATA) have been actively touring both Telugu states, extending invitations to prominent personalities for the upcoming 19th ATA Convention & Youth Conference, scheduled to be held in Baltimore, Maryland.
As part of this outreach, ATA representatives formally invited former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to the prestigious convention. They met him in person and extended the official invitation, requesting his presence at the event.
According to sources, Jagan Mohan Reddy responded positively to the invitation. He also indicated that, while his personal attendance may not be possible, representatives from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) would be sent to participate in the convention.
Leaders from both Telugu states, along with prominent figures from politics, cinema, and cultural fields, are expected to attend the grand event.
Jagan reportedly wished success for the ATA convention and directed YSRCP coordinators Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and party secretary Sambasiva Reddy to extend necessary cooperation to the organizers.
The ATA delegation included President Jayant Challa, former presidents Bhuvanesh Bujala and Sarat Vemula, and Srikanth Gudipati, among others, who met Jagan and extended the invitation.
