Preparations are underway for the grand celebration of Bathukamma 2026, the vibrant floral festival that represents the rich culture and traditions of Telangana.
The celebrations will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Hindu Mandir, Hindu Temple & Cultural Center of Windsor, 7007 Enterprise Way, Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Telugu women from the community are expected to participate in large numbers, beautifully arranging colorful flowers into traditional Bathukamma stacks and celebrating the festival in traditional attire.
The event will feature traditional Bathukamma songs, dances and cultural programs, creating a festive atmosphere for families and the Telugu community.
The celebrations also highlight the efforts of the Telugu diaspora to preserve and promote Telangana’s rich cultural heritage while living abroad.
