The birth anniversary of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy (YSR) was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Plano, a suburb of Dallas, Texas. Members of the local NRI YSRCP community, along with admirers of the YSR family, gathered to pay tribute to the late leader by cutting a cake and raising slogans of "Johar YSR."

Addressing the gathering through a video call, YSRCP NRI Wing Coordinator Aluru Sambasiva Reddy described Dr. YSR as a visionary leader who laid the foundation for several people-centric welfare initiatives. He highlighted landmark schemes such as Fee Reimbursement in education, Aarogyasri in healthcare, and the Farm Loan Waiver for farmers, stating that these programs transformed the lives of millions.

He urged beneficiaries of YSR's welfare policies to share their experiences with others and help preserve the legacy of a leader who dedicated his life to public service. Speakers at the event remembered Dr. YSR as a compassionate leader who built lasting personal connections with people from all walks of life.

The event was attended by Annapureddy Shiva, Koduru Krishna Reddy, Bhaskar, YSR, Srikanth, Veera Shiva Reddy, Darga Nagi Reddy, and several other community members, who paid heartfelt tributes to the late leader.
