Music lovers in the Dallas–Fort Worth area were treated to an unforgettable evening as maestro Ilaiyaraaja presented his iconic musical journey through the “Raaja 50 – Ilaiyaraaja Live in Concert”. The grand event was held on August 15 at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland.
Ilaiyaraaja performed several of his timeless compositions live, captivating the audience with his signature melodies. The event was jointly organized by Mercuri, Catch The Rhythms, and Saregama Live, and received an enthusiastic response from the Indian-American community across the Dallas–Fort Worth region.
Celebrating Ilaiyaraaja’s decades-long contribution to Indian cinema music, the concert offered fans a rare opportunity to experience his legendary compositions live on stage. The event also highlighted the growing popularity of Indian cultural programs among audiences in the United States.
Adding to the excitement, special fan activities were organized alongside the concert. Lucky-draw winners were given an exclusive Meet & Greet opportunity with Ilaiyaraaja at Bharat Bhavan in Irving, allowing fans to meet the legendary composer in person.
