The Indian Overseas Congress (IOC) in the United States is expanding its activities with the launch of the IOC Atlanta Chapter in the Greater Atlanta area of Georgia. The inaugural event is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, at Biryani World Fusion & Grill in Johns Creek, Georgia.

The event aims to bring together members of the Indian-American community, supporters and local leaders from the Greater Atlanta area on a common platform. Organizers said the new chapter will focus on encouraging community participation, promoting civic engagement and strengthening unity among Indian-Americans.

Several prominent leaders from the Indian National Congress and the IOC are expected to attend the event.

The chapter launch will be organized under the leadership of Anil Boddireddy, representative of the IOC Atlanta Chapter. Organizers expressed confidence that the new chapter will serve as an important platform for bringing the Indian-American community in the Atlanta region together and strengthening its engagement at the local level.
