As part of the celebrations, TPAD hosted a grand kick-off event on September 12 at Elegance Ballroom & Event Center in Plano. The event highlighted the upcoming Bathukamma and Dasara festivities and gave attendees a glimpse of the exciting programs planned for the main celebrations.

The main Bathukamma & Dasara Sambaraalu are scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas. The celebrations will begin at 12 noon and continue until midnight, offering a full day of cultural programs, entertainment and festivities.

A major highlight of the event will be live entertainment by popular Telugu actor Naveen Polishetty. The celebrations will also feature a live performance by Infusion Band, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The event will showcase Bathukamma and Dasara traditions, giving the Telugu community an opportunity to come together and celebrate their cultural heritage in the United States. Free entry and free parking will be available for attendees.

The TPAD team is led by President Lakshmi Poreddy, Board of Trustee–Chair Ravikanth Mamidi, Coordinator Linga Reddy Alva, and Foundation Committee Chair Raghuveer Bandaru, who are coordinating the celebrations.
