The spirit of ‘Viksit Bharat’, the vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047, is resonating across the world. As part of Seva Pakhwada, observed from September 17 to October 2, several Indian missions abroad have been organising the ‘Viksit Bharat Run 2026’ to promote the spirit of unity, service and community participation.
As part of these initiatives, the Embassy of India in Stockholm organised the second edition of the Viksit Bharat Run 2026. The 5-kilometre run was conducted in partnership with Anchor Sports and the Sweden Telugu Community, bringing together members of the Indian community in Stockholm.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Indian community, with participants coming together to celebrate the spirit of unity, service and shared responsibility.
The run also highlighted the connection of the Indian diaspora with the vision of a Viksit Bharat, reflecting their continued engagement with initiatives that promote community spirit and the broader development goals of India.
