Satnam Singh and Salman Khan Win Bronze in Rowing

Indian rowers Satnam Singh and Salman Khan won the bronze medal in the men's double sculls event.

Earlier, Balraj Panwar narrowly missed out on a medal in the men's single sculls final. He was in second position until the final 500 metres but eventually finished fourth after being overtaken by rowers from Uzbekistan and Japan.

Roshibina Devi Claims Silver in Wushu

India's Roshibina Devi won the silver medal in the women's 60kg sanda event after losing the gold-medal bout to China's Zhang Xiaoyu.

Zhang dominated the final, winning both rounds 5-0. The silver marks Roshibina's third consecutive Asian Games medal. She won bronze in 2018, silver in 2023 and another silver in 2026.

India Remain in Contention in Shooting

In the mixed team skeet event, India's Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal remained in medal contention. The Indian pair scored seven in the opening sequence and were placed third at that stage.

Indian shooters Kamaljeet and Akash Bharadwaj also competed in the men's 10m air pistol qualification. After the first group of shooters completed their rounds, they were placed seventh and ninth respectively.

Defending Asian Games champions Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty face challenging opponents in the individual event draw.

In women's squash, Tanvi Khanna defeated Singapore's Au Yeong in the round of 16.
