Indian cricket has scored another major commercial win, with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) securing sponsorship deals worth more than ₹130 crore with three major brands — Campa, SBI Life and ChatGPT.
The two-year partnership will cover 35 international matches to be played in India, starting with the upcoming home series against the West Indies and running until March 2028.
Three Big Brands Join Team India
The new sponsorship line-up brings together companies from different industries:
Campa — beverage sector
SBI Life — insurance sector
ChatGPT — artificial intelligence and technology
Campa has emerged as the highest bidder at ₹1.31 crore per match, while SBI Life and ChatGPT have agreed to pay ₹1.20 crore per match each.
BCCI Scores a Commercial Win
The latest agreement represents a 44% increase in value compared with the previous sponsorship cycle, underlining the strong commercial appeal of Indian cricket.
With millions of fans following India's home matches, the partnership gives the three brands significant visibility across one of the country's biggest sporting platforms.
The inclusion of an AI technology brand such as ChatGPT also reflects the changing nature of cricket sponsorship, with technology companies increasingly seeking a presence alongside traditional consumer brands.
The new deal further strengthens the BCCI's commercial portfolio and highlights the continuing global appeal and financial strength of Team India and Indian cricket.
