Indian badminton star PV Sindhu joined the celebrations after Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) successful IPL title triumph, sharing a heartfelt and humorous message with fans.

In a light-hearted Instagram post, Sindhu joked that RCB’s recent success coincided with her move to Bengaluru. “RCB fans, I am not saying I am the lucky charm. But I moved to Bangalore and suddenly you have won the trophy every year since. Do the maths,” she wrote, congratulating the players, support staff, owners, and loyal fans.

The two-time Olympic medallist highlighted the emotional journey of the franchise, noting that RCB had endured years of heartbreak, unwavering belief, and passionate support before finally achieving sustained success. She described the team’s back-to-back championship victories as a special moment for the city and its fans.

Sindhu also extended congratulations to entrepreneur Ananya Birla and her family, praising them for becoming part of the ownership group and immediately witnessing championship success. She jokingly called it “serious main character energy.”

Being a Hyderabad native, Sindhu admitted that her dream scenario would have been an IPL final between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. She said such a clash would have been emotionally overwhelming for fans in the best possible way.
