New Siri AI brings advanced reasoning, personalized assistance, and deeper integration across Apple devices

Apple has unveiled the next generation of Apple Intelligence at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2026, introducing a significantly upgraded version of Siri powered by advanced artificial intelligence. The revamped assistant, branded as "Siri AI," is designed to deliver more natural conversations, deeper personalization, and enhanced productivity across Apple's ecosystem.

According to Apple, Siri AI features improved contextual understanding, onscreen awareness, and the ability to interact seamlessly across apps and devices. The assistant can access relevant information from messages, emails, photos, and other personal data to provide more intelligent and personalized responses while maintaining Apple's privacy-first approach.

The new Siri AI is integrated across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro, allowing users to continue conversations across devices through iCloud-synced interactions. Apple has also introduced a dedicated Siri AI app, enabling users to revisit previous conversations and access AI-powered assistance more efficiently.

Apple Intelligence has also been expanded with new writing tools, enhanced Visual Intelligence capabilities, smarter app interactions, and improved automation features. The company says these upgrades are designed to help users complete everyday tasks more naturally and efficiently.

Craig Federighi, Apple's Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, described Siri AI as a "dramatically more capable and conversational assistant" that can help users find information, manage tasks, and interact with apps in a more intuitive way.

Apple emphasized that privacy remains central to its AI strategy. Siri AI processes requests using on-device intelligence and Apple's Private Cloud Compute technology, ensuring that user data remains protected while delivering advanced AI capabilities.

The new AI features are currently available to developers for testing, with a public beta expected later this year.
