The Telangana government has been continuously releasing funds for Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG) activities, said Director of School Education and BSG State Secretary Dr. E. Naveen Nicolas.
Briefing the Governor, he stated that 1,000 schools across the state had joined BSG activities during the 2025-26 academic year.
He also expressed confidence that another 1,000 schools would be brought under the programme in the 2026-27 academic year.
