The Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training successfully conducted POLYCET-2026 across 293 examination centres in the state. The entrance test for admissions into engineering and non-engineering diploma courses was held from 11 AM to 1:30 PM on Wednesday.
A total of 1 lakh 6 thousand 439 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 98 thousand 28 students appeared, recording an overall attendance of 92.10 percent. Among boys, attendance stood at 92.40 percent, while girls recorded 91.75 percent attendance. The examination is being conducted for admissions into diploma programmes offered by technical education institutions, along with agriculture, veterinary and horticulture universities across Telangana.
