Hyderabad: Two persons were injured in an accident after a scooter allegedly travelling on the wrong side was hit by a cab in the Old Basti area of Hyderabad, police said.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred when the scooter rider attempted to move against the flow of traffic and collided with an oncoming cab. The impact left both the rider and pillion rider injured.
Locals rushed the injured persons to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their condition is said to be stable, officials added.
Police reached the spot soon after the incident and initiated an investigation. A case has been registered, and officials are examining CCTV footage to determine the exact sequence of events and fix responsibility.
