In Secunderabad, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials conducted raids and caught woman Sub-Inspector Nandita of Bowenpally Police Station red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe. According to reports, the SI allegedly pressured the complainant to pay money in exchange for cooperation in a case. She was also accused of demanding additional money, claiming that shares had to be given to everyone in the police station.
Unwilling to pay the bribe, the victim approached ACB officials. Acting on the complaint, the ACB laid a trap and caught the SI while she was receiving the bribe. Officials took her into custody, seized the bribe amount, and registered a case. Further investigation is underway.
