The Telangana government has appointed former GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi as the Chairperson of the Telangana State Women’s Commission. The government also issued a GO appointing Kasoju Shankaramma, Chityala Swetha, Shashikala Yadav Reddy, Sadalakshmi, N. Radhabai, and Uzma Ashay Shakira as members.
