Three students from Telangana were killed in a tragic road accident in Florida, USA. The car they were travelling in reportedly lost control and crashed into a roadside tree.
One of the deceased has been identified as Rahul, a native of the Navipet area in Nizamabad district. Rahul had travelled to the US around three months ago to pursue higher education. He had completed his MS and enrolled in a PhD programme at the University of South Florida, his father Haribabu said.
The students were reportedly travelling to their part-time workplace when the accident occurred. The news of Rahul’s death has plunged his family in Nizamabad into deep grief, with relatives and neighbours expressing shock and sorrow.
The exact cause of the accident, details of the vehicle and road conditions are yet to be established. Local authorities are continuing their investigation.
