BJP's Pravesh Wahi was elected Mayor of Delhi's Municipal Corporation with 156 votes, gaining support from the Indraprastha Vikas Party. Monika Pant was elected Deputy Mayor. Wahi has reportedly a long history with the RSS and has held various roles within the BJP.
