The Indie Film Festival Awards (IFFA) 2026 will be held in New York City, celebrating excellence in independent cinema by honoring outstanding directors, actors, writers, and technical professionals. The international event is scheduled to take place from August 4 to August 6 at the Quad Cinema in New York. Organizers announced that more than 135 films from over 20 countries have been selected for screening this year.

The Opening Ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM on August 4 and will be attended by distinguished guests, including Binay Pradhan, Consul General of India; Ramdas Athawale, India's Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment; Ujwal Nirgudkar, Chairman of the Society of Motion Pictures & Television Engineers (New York, USA); and Abhay Sinha, President of the Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association, along with several other prominent dignitaries.

The Grand Awards Ceremony will take place on August 6, during which more than 25 prestigious awards will be presented to outstanding contributors across various categories. Organizers said the event will feature renowned personalities from Hollywood and Bollywood, along with a glamorous red carpet, cultural performances, and special entertainment, making it one of the highlights of the international independent film calendar.
