The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has issued a strong warning to devotees about the growing number of cyber frauds being carried out in the name of Srivari Darshan, accommodation, and seva tickets. Officials said fraudsters are using fake websites, social media links, and unauthorized agents to cheat devotees by collecting money for services that do not exist.
According to TTD, a fake website designed to resemble the official TTD portal has been circulating on social media, falsely claiming that darshan, seva tickets, and accommodation are available for booking. The temple body clarified that these websites have no connection with TTD and are intended only to deceive devotees. A police complaint has been filed, and steps have been initiated to remove the fraudulent website.
The temple administration has advised devotees to book darshan, accommodation, and other services only through the official TTD website and mobile application. Devotees have also been urged not to trust middlemen, unofficial links, or advertisements promising VIP darshan or guaranteed tickets in exchange for money.
TTD stated that strict legal action will be taken against those involved in cheating devotees. Officials also appealed to the public to report suspicious websites, fake agents, or fraudulent activities immediately to the authorities.
