US President Donald Trump is planning another ballroom, this time at his private golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. The proposed ballroom would measure more than 11,000 square feet and form part of a major expansion of the club’s existing clubhouse.

The planned development would increase the clubhouse from about 26,000 square feet to 54,000 square feet, more than doubling its current size. The project would also significantly increase the building’s seating capacity, allowing the club to host larger private events such as weddings for its roughly 550 members and their families.

The expansion plans include the new ballroom, additional parking, an upgraded private sewage-treatment facility and measures to manage stormwater runoff. Trump's team is pursuing the project through local and state permitting procedures, which could take several months.

The proposal has also drawn concerns from some local residents, particularly over the possibility of increased traffic in the surrounding area. The project was discussed before the Bedminster Land Use Board as Trump's architects, planners and legal representatives sought the necessary approvals and waivers.

The New Jersey plan comes as Trump is also pursuing a much larger 90,000-square-foot ballroom at the White House in Washington, D.C. The White House project has faced legal challenges over questions surrounding congressional approval and historic preservation.

Trump's Bedminster club, often associated with his summer residence, already features extensive golf facilities and other amenities. The proposed ballroom would add another major event space to the property.
