A milk tanker overturned after losing control on the Sira Highway in Tumakuru district of Karnataka. Thousands of litres of milk reportedly spilled onto the road, leaving the highway covered in milk.
As news of the incident spread, a large number of locals gathered at the spot. Some people arrived with buckets, cans and other containers and attempted to collect the spilled milk. A huge quantity of milk was wasted in the incident, reportedly causing significant financial loss. The gathering of people also led to traffic disruption on the highway for some time.
