A tragic aviation accident has occurred in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, after a Tecnam training aircraft operated by Garg Aviation crashed near Natapurva village, close to the Ganga Barrage.

The aircraft reportedly crashed around 20 minutes after take-off. Both pilots on board were killed in the accident. The deceased have been identified as instructor pilot Sachin Bhatia from Gujarat and trainee pilot Abhishek Pujari from Karnataka.

Instructor Sachin Bhatia reportedly had around 3,000 hours of flying experience. The aircraft, bearing registration number VT-NBV, was also reportedly involved in an accident at Kanpur’s Chakeri Airport in June. Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the crash.
