Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa lit up in a special display to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday, featuring visuals celebrating the Indian leader and birthday greetings. The illumination added a special touch to the celebrations across the world.
Standing at around 828 metres, Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest building and is frequently illuminated for major occasions and special tributes.
PM Modi turned 76 on September 17, with leaders from across India extending birthday greetings. President Droupadi Murmu, Union ministers and several political leaders shared messages on the occasion. Special programmes were also organised in Vadnagar, Gujarat, Modi’s birthplace.
The Burj Khalifa illumination also brought renewed attention to India-UAE relations, with the two countries expanding cooperation across areas including trade, investment, energy, technology and people-to-people ties.
A similar Burj Khalifa illumination was also held for Modi’s 75th birthday in September 2025, when his images and birthday messages were displayed on the landmark building.
