The 19th American Telugu Association (ATA) Conference & Youth Convention continues its commitment to promoting Indian classical music with the 'Jhummandi Naadam' Senior Classical Singing Competition. The event offers an exceptional platform for talented singers to showcase their dedication to classical music while preserving India's rich musical heritage among Telugu communities living abroad.

The Senior Classical Finals will feature accomplished finalists selected through a competitive process. Participants will perform before an esteemed panel of judges, demonstrating their vocal excellence, classical knowledge, and stage presence in front of music lovers and the Telugu community attending the conference.

The competition will be evaluated by an illustrious panel of judges that includes Kalaratna Sri Parupalli S. Ranganath, renowned playback singer Smt. Sunitha, Swara Samrat Dr. I. Sarathchandra, National Award-winning lyricist Kasarla Shyam, Smt. Sridevi Ayyagari, folk singer and lyricist Sri Mittapalli Surender, playback singer Smt. Swathi Reddy, and Smt. Sameera Sripada. Their experience and expertise are expected to inspire participants while ensuring a high standard of evaluation.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 1, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at Room 308 of the Baltimore Convention Center, where audiences will witness outstanding classical music performances throughout the day.

The Jhummandi Naadam Committee, led by Chair Sudha Kondapu, along with Co-Chairs Naveen Saragadam and Krishna Podagatlapalli, supported by advisors and committee members, has made elaborate arrangements to ensure the successful conduct of the competition.

The 19th ATA Conference is one of the largest gatherings of the Telugu community in North America, celebrating Telugu language, culture, music, literature, youth talent, and community spirit.
