The IDOL Gandharva Ghantasala Association (IGGA) hosted the grand Music Festival in New Jersey, offering Telugu music lovers an unforgettable evening of music, dance and culture. The event was held at the Royal Albert Palace in Fords and was attended by a large number of Telugu music enthusiasts.
The festival continued from the evening into the night, featuring the timeless melodies of Ghantasala, Annamayya Keerthanas and live musical performances. The impressive dance performances by children were among the major highlights of the evening. Traditional Kuchipudi performances and other cultural presentations added further grandeur to the celebration.
The event featured Annamayya Sri Padarchana, ‘Ghantasala Swara,’ Sangeetha Nrithya Hela, the IGGA Rising Star Singing Program, live music and Burrakatha. Performances by young children and emerging artists received enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Performances by renowned singers and dance artists were another major attraction. The festival also stood out for bringing Telugu culture and traditions to the stage while celebrating the timeless musical legacy of legendary singer Ghantasala.
Edison Mayor Sam Joshi, Commissioner Emeritus Upendra Chivukula, Samudra, Inc. CEO Mangesh Chintamneni and IGGA Founder Sharath Chandra were among the distinguished guests. Professional singer Anita Krishna, actor and Kuchipudi artist Indraneel Varma, professional Kuchipudi dancer Varshini Arja, and Sai Datta Peetham Founder and CEO Raghu Shankaramanchi were also present.
The event was successfully organized by the IGGA leadership team, including Damu Gedela, Prasad Vootukuru, Poornima Girkala, Madhulatha Pantrangi, Eshwari Lukulapu, Shivashankar Kanaremedala and M.V. Rao, among others.
The organizers said that IGGA’s mission is to introduce Telugu music, literature, dance and culture to future generations in the United States while encouraging and supporting young children and emerging artists.
Overall, the ‘Music Festival’ emerged as a vibrant celebration of music, dance and Telugu culture, offering the New Jersey Telugu community a memorable cultural feast.
