The Plano Balloon Festival is all set to take visitors on a colorful journey from September 17 to 20, 2026, at Oak Point Park / Red Tail Pavilion in Plano, Texas.
The festival’s signature attraction, the Balloon Glow, will take place Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 PM, when dozens of hot air balloons light up the evening sky, creating a spectacular visual treat.
Visitors can also enjoy balloon launches at 7:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. The festival will feature live music, skydivers, food vendors, a Kids Fun Zone, and fireworks on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3–12 and seniors, while children under 36 inches can enter for free.
For the best photo opportunities, Saturday evening around 7:30 PM is highly recommended for the Balloon Glow, followed by 9 PM fireworks.
