In a major initiative aimed at empowering the Telugu and South Asian diaspora in the United States, the Mana American Telugu Association (MATA) has launched a Free Monthly Legal Seminar Series. The virtual program is designed to help community members better understand key legal issues that impact their personal and professional lives.

The seminar series will begin on July 25, 2026, and will be conducted online via Zoom on the last Saturday of every month from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (EST). The remaining sessions are scheduled for August 29, September 26, October 31, November 28, and December 19.

Each session will focus on practical legal topics that are especially relevant to immigrants, including immigration law, family law, real estate transactions, and business law. Participants will receive updates on visa policies, green card procedures, estate planning, property transactions, corporate compliance, and legal best practices for entrepreneurs and professionals.

To ensure expert guidance, MATA has brought together a panel of experienced legal professionals, including Santosh R. Somi Reddy, Founding Partner of Somireddy Law Group PLLC; Bhanu B. Ilindra, Founder of BBI Law Group, P.C.; Prema Roddam, General Counsel at Compunnel Inc.; and Madhurima Paturi, Founding Partner of Paturi Law. The sessions will also feature live Q&A interactions, allowing participants to receive answers directly from legal experts.

The initiative is being led by MATA President Ramana K Kiran Duddagi, Executive Vice President Praveen Guduru, and General Secretary Vijay Bhaskar Kalal, with support from Advisory Council members Srinivas Ganagoni and Pradeep Samala.

Community members interested in attending the seminars or seeking legal guidance can register through MATA's Community Services team by contacting Lakshmi Kanth Gajula. According to the organization, the initiative reflects MATA's ongoing commitment to providing meaningful educational resources and legal awareness to the Telugu diaspora across the United States.
