Tampa is set to witness an enchanting evening of Bharatanatyam with “Sakha & Maha Maya — An Evening of Bharatanatyam,” presented by Rudram Dance Company on September 5, 2026.
The special cultural event will be held from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the New Tampa Performing Arts Center, bringing together the beauty, devotion and storytelling of Indian classical dance.
The evening will feature two major performances. “Sakha” — A Man as Friend will be presented as a solo performance by P. Praveen Kumar, while “Maha Maya” — The Supreme Goddess will be performed by the RDC Dancers as a group presentation.
The event is produced by Tara Bikkosani and Rudram Dance Company, with P. Praveen Kumar serving as the concept creator and choreographer. The program is supported by a grant from the Hillsborough Arts Council.
