With the message “Give Blood, Save Lives,” Sewa International USA – Detroit Chapter is organizing a community blood drive in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Michigan.
The blood drive will be held on Saturday, August 29, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at The Hindu Temple – Canton, Classroom 1 & 2, located at 44955 Cherry Hill Rd., Canton, Michigan.
Organizers are encouraging community members to donate blood and help save lives. Donors are advised to eat a healthy meal, drink plenty of water, and bring a photo ID before donating.
Appointments can be reserved in advance through the registration link provided by the organizers.
Sewa Detroit has urged everyone who is eligible to participate and support the initiative, highlighting that one blood donation can help save multiple lives.
