The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) – New Jersey Chapter has announced "Hiking-26," a community outdoor event aimed at promoting health, wellness, and togetherness. The event will be held under the theme "Better Tomorrow Begins with a Step."
The hike is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM (EST) at the Sourland Mountain Hiking Trail, located at 415 E Mountain Road, Hillsborough Township, New Jersey 08844.
The initiative encourages Telugu families, youth, and outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy nature while embracing an active and healthy lifestyle. Organizers say the event will also provide an opportunity for community members to connect and build stronger relationships.
The event is being organized under the leadership of TANA President Dr. Naren Kodali and Executive Vice President Srinivas Lavu. Dasaradha Talapaneni is serving as the Hiking Coordinator, with support from Youth Coordinator Srinivas Cherukuri, foundation trustees, and a team of youth volunteers.
