Team India produced a stunning all-round performance in the third and final T20I at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium, defeating Afghanistan by a massive 127-run margin and completing a 3–0 series clean sweep.
Batting first after winning the toss, India posted a mammoth 221/7 in 20 overs. Opener Abhishek Sharma stole the show with a record-breaking century, reaching the milestone in just 30 balls. He smashed 108 off 34 balls, including 11 sixes and 9 fours.
Sanju Samson also made his mark with a 50 off 35 balls, as the opening pair put together a dominant 142-run partnership.
Chasing 222, Afghanistan struggled against India’s bowling attack and were bowled out for just 94 in 14.1 overs. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Ravi Bishnoi picked up three wickets each, finishing with figures of 3/25 and 3/26 respectively.
Abhishek Sharma was named Player of the Match for his explosive century. With a commanding display in both batting and bowling, India wrapped up the series with a convincing 3–0 clean sweep.
