German luxury carmaker Audi has unveiled the new-generation Q3 SUV in India, ahead of its expected launch during the upcoming festive season. The third-generation Q3 is one of Audi India's key new products as the company looks to strengthen its presence in the premium SUV segment.

Sharper and More Modern Design

The new Q3 gets a significantly updated exterior inspired by Audi's latest design language.

The SUV features a larger single-frame grille, sharper lighting elements, sculpted bodywork and a stronger shoulder line. At the rear, it gets connected lighting elements and an illuminated Audi logo, giving the SUV a more distinctive appearance.

The new Q3 is also larger than its predecessor, measuring around 4,531mm in length, 1,859mm in width and 1,623mm in height, with a 2,681mm wheelbase.

Premium and Tech-Focused Cabin

The interior has received a major makeover, with a more modern dashboard layout and multiple digital displays.

Key highlights include a digital driver's display, large touchscreen, redesigned steering wheel, updated centre console and premium seating features. The SUV is also expected to offer advanced driver-assistance and parking technologies.

2.0-Litre Petrol Engine with Quattro AWD

The India-spec Q3 is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing around 204hp and 320Nm.

The engine is expected to be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system is expected to be offered as standard.

Launch During Festive Season

Audi has confirmed that the new Q3 will arrive in India during the 2026 festive season, with the market launch expected in the fourth quarter of the year. The exact launch date and pricing are expected to be announced closer to the launch.

The Q3 will be followed by other major Audi products, including the A5 sedan and Q9 SUV, as part of the company's upcoming product expansion in India.

Competition

Once launched, the new Audi Q3 will compete with premium SUVs such as the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA in the Indian market.
