Union Minister Bandi Sanjay reacted to the POCSO case registered against his son Bandi Bhagirath. Speaking at the Hindu Ekta Yatra in Karimnagar, he said he could not spend enough time with his son due to his busy public life. He alleged that attempts were being made to portray his son as a criminal, but asserted that he respects the law and justice. He also stated that if his son is found guilty, he would not spare him.
Meanwhile, Pet Basheerabad police registered a POCSO case against Bandi Bhagirath based on a complaint filed by a minor girl alleging sexual harassment. Police have intensified the investigation and appointed woman IPS officer Rithiraj as the supervising officer. Cyberabad CP Ramesh Reddy directed officials to conduct a fair and professional probe and submit daily progress reports on the investigation.
